Mothers for All
Mothers for All is a non-profit organisation that supports the women in Botswana and South Africa who are caring for children orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV and AIDS. The trust's primary focus is teaching income-generating skills to the orphans' caregivers - mainly women, often with little means, often caring for more than one child - thereby providing a sustainable means of support for them and their charges.
Mothers for All also aims to provide a social network through which the orphan caregivers can share their experiences, challenges and knowledge. Ultimately, the women will be taught permaculture and food gardening, and will be given environmental awareness training. Access to Medicine Foundation
One out of three people lacks access to essential affordable drugs or vaccines. Increasing access to medicines stands to save and improve millions of lives each year. The Access to Medicine Index, created by the Access to Medicine Foundation and Innovest Strategic Value Advisers, examines the efforts of pharmaceutical companies in improving access, and seeks to encourage them as well as other stakeholders to do more. Robyn is an ambassador for the ATM Foundation. To read more visit the Access to Medicine Index
